GOD DOES NOT CHANGE!

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

“I am the Lord, and I do not change.” (Malachi 3:6 NLT)

Abba Father, so much in this world changes and has been redefined. I am so thankful that You do not change, and Your Truth is still truth and cannot be redefined no matter how much humans put their spin on Your Word. Their spin just leads to deception and a sense of complacency with sin. Even in this, You are always the same. I am also thankful that You do not compromise or are swayed by the opinions of others. You have, and had, the final say.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 NLT)

Abba, thank You that I can depend on You and Your consistency. What You said is what You mean and what You will do. No matter what changes, You remain the same, constant, consistent. Knowing this anchors my faith firmly in You. Your character is timeless.

Because You don’t change neither does Your Word. You are true to Your Word. You are alert and active, watching over Your Word to perform it. (Then said the Lord to me, "You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it." Jeremiah 1:12 AMPC)

I can pray Your Word in complete confidence knowing it will not return to You void, without producing any effect, or useless. (“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 AMPC) Your word will accomplish that which You please and purpose. Not only that Your Word shall prosper in the thing for which You sent it.

“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19 AMPC)

Lord, You don’t lie. What You have said is exactly what You will do. You keep Your promises. I can count on that. Your Word produces because there is life in Your Word.

“God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (I Corinthians 1:9 AMPC)

I DECLARE THESE THRUTHS ABOUT YOU ABBA FATHER:

  • You do not change.

  • You’re the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

  • You are alert and active.

  • You watch over Your Word to perform it.

  • You do not lie.

  • You are faithful, reliable, and trustworthy.

  • You are true to Your promises.

  • You are dependable

“No matter what changes come your way you can depend on God to fulfill what He has promised.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (II Corinthians 1:20 NKJV)
