“I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle the fire of the spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you.” (II Timothy 1:6 TPT)

  • Who and what is the source of my encouragement? (Personalize this question for your gift)

  • How do I fan into a flame, that doesn’t go out, and rekindle the fire of the spiritual gift from God?

I am responsible for the gift You have given me Abba Father. It’s my job, with Your help and direction, to steward my gift in a way that honors You.

“The gift is not something we learn. It is something we need to discover and then stir up. No one else can activate your gift for you. You have to do it yourself.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

It’s a gift, not talent. It’s given by You, Father, not by people. It requires my time and attention to walk in it in a way that glorifies You. Once discovered, I must stir it up, keep it ablaze. In other words, I don’t quit. I continue to use my gift for Your glory. It requires my attention, development, refining, enhancing, and use.

“Wise instruction is like a costly gem. It turns the impossible into success.” (Proverbs 17:8 TPT)

Wise instruction – wisdom is key!

“The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).” (Proverbs 4:7 AMPC)

I can’t walk in my gift without instruction. Success is rooted in knowing what to do and knowing how, and when, to do it. Timing is key. My gift is a priceless gem that I must use, will use, for Your glory, Abba Father. I will value it.

“Many people are working only for money. That’s an inferior reason to work. We must work for the visions within us.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

Yes. I will work for the visions that You have placed in my heart, Abba Father. I will put my life and energy into developing and using the gift You have placed in me.

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.: (I Peter 4:10 NLT)

Thank You for gifting me, Abba Father. I will use my gift well to serve others through encouragement in Your Word. (Personalize this for the gift God has given you.)

Be Encouraged! ❤
