"Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions. Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you." (Proverbs 4:25-26 TPT)
Where you're focused is the direction you will move in. Make sure you're focused on where you're trying to get to, where God wants you to be, doing what He wants you to do! Take a moment and evaluate.
Questions to consider when pondering or evaluating your path:
Am I on the right, and true, path?
Am I doing what You want me to do, Abba Father?
Do I need to make a course correction?
Sometimes you need to stop and check in with God to see if you are doing what He called you to do the in the way He wants you to do it. Think of it as a mic check, to make sure you can hear. Make any adjustments needed to hear the voice of God over everything else. You can begin on the right path and get detoured without even realizing it.
"Don’t allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment or take the detour that leads to darkness." (Proverbs 4:27 TPT)
That doesn’t mean you are not doing good things, maybe even great things, it just means you might not be doing what God wants you to do in this moment. Don't let a good thing get in the way of a God thing. Allow Holy Spirit to lead you where God is directing you to go. When you do you'll always travel to the right place.
Your teacher will be right there, local and on the job, urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road. Walk down this road.” (Isaiah 30:21 MSG)
God will always show you the way.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105 AMPC)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Lord, help me to be where You want me to be, doing what you have called and equipped me to do. I don’t want to be distracted by doing good things and miss the God things You want me to do.
Be Encouraged! ❤
