GOD, ME, AND TEA TIME!

Our God says, “Calm down, and learn that I am God!
One lesson I've learned, and continue to walk in, is the importance of being and not doing. Busy doesn't mean effective or impactful. It just means busy and it possibly means distraction]!
Good things can be a distraction when it's not your assignment. I have to remind myself that just because I can doesn't mean I should!
"Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him." (Psalms 62:5 NLT)
God gave me this mandate years ago and I revisit it often:
Be still.
Be quiet.
Be prayerful.
Be harmless.
I'm talking to God, not people, especially when the issue is people! Only God can transform people, and that inudes me! Sometimes it's not people that are the issue. Sometimes it's my perspective about what's going on that's the issue. Only God can give me the right perspective. When I remain still, quiet, and prayerful I'm given the power to be harmless!
God has an appointed time and season for everything.
"For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak." (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7 NLT)
So I will:
Be still, Be quiet, Be prayerful, and Be harmless while trusting God's timing.
