GOD, ME, AND TEA TIME! (REST IN THE PEACE OF JESUS!)

Updated: Jan 9, 2022

"We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose."

(Romans 8:28 AMPC)

God is not in heaven calling a 911 emergency meeting with Jesus, Holy Spirit, and the angels saying, "oh my, how did this or that happen?" Nothing happens to us that He has not allowed. While He doesn't cause life's challenges and disappointments He does use them to build our character, making us more like Him, while preparing us for His use.

No matter what you may be going through, or will go through, Jesus has already given you the victory.

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]." (John 16:33 AMPC)

Because I know He's in control and nothing, absolutely nothing, catches Him by surprise, I can sleep in Tsunami conditions. Why? Because I have His peace, that surpasses all understanding, and I take Him at His Word. I know that all things will work together for my good and His glory. I can rest in that through the storms of life.

"Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ." (Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 TPT)

No matter what it looks like, or feels like, always remember this:

"Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us." (Romans 8:37 AMPC)

SAY THIS OUT LOUD:

I have the victory. Jesus paid for it on Calvary so I'm going to walk in it. No matter what, I have the victory! Hallelujah!
