GODLY FOCUS IN 2023!

Since we usually begin a New Year evaluating and setting goals, let's consider how we can deepen our intimacy with God during 2023.

Let’s determine that 2023 will be the year that we take loving God to the next level:

“Hear, O (YOUR NAME)! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one [the only God]! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be [written] on your heart and mind.” (Deuteronomy 6:4-6 AMPC)

If you make resolutions consider some resolutions, changes, that are anchored in the Word of God.

Let’s resolve that:

  • This will not only impact us, but we will impact everyone we come in contact with.

  • We will begin the New Year with our hearts, minds, and souls focused on God.

  • We will be about our Father’s business.

  • We will not be easily offended.

  • We will be quick to forgive.

  • We will lead with love.

  • We will choose peace over strife.

  • People will see Jesus in us.

  • Our thoughts, words, and actions will reflect the heart of Jesus!

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, in 2023, help me to be where You want me to be, doing what You have called me to do. I don’t want to be distracted this year by doing good things and miss the God things You want me to do.

Let's focus on walking in love, no matter what.

I challenge you to make this faith confession daily based on 1st Corinthians 13:4-8a AMP:

"(YOUR NAME) love endures with patience and serenity, (YOUR NAME) love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; (YOUR NAME) love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. (YOUR NAME) love is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; (YOUR NAME) love does not take into account a wrong endured. (YOUR NAME) love does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. (YOUR NAME) love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. (YOUR NAME) love never fails [it never fades nor ends].” (Personalized 1st Corinthians 13:4-8a AMP)

Be Encouraged! ❤

Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord! Growing closer with Him, Yes and growing, maturing our love walk! I really enjoyed this. I will revisit this and mediate/study on the scripture because I am praying that my relationship with Christ grow deeper and that in the area of my relationships...God redeems me. I'm in a new season and praying for Christ Centered, Divine relationships that are fruitful. It starts with me so the confession is on point. Holy Spirit, I am depending upon you! Amen🙏🏾

To God be the glory! When we diligently seek Him as our vital necessity He will be found. One of my favorite Scriptures is: I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalms 32:8‭-‬9 TPT)

Sounds great. I write a post on the 23rd Psalm personalizing it with the Names of God.
