HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!
"Hope of all hopes, dream of our dreams, a child is born, sweet-breathed; a son is given to us: a living gift. And even now, with tiny features and dewy hair, He is great. The power of leadership, and the weight of authority, will rest on His shoulders. His name? His name we’ll know in many ways—He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Dear Father everlasting, ever-present never-failing, Master of Wholeness, Prince of Peace. Today is a day set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. In all the hustle and bustle of the season, take some time to remember this priceless and precious gift that our loving heavenly Father has given us!
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16 AMPC)
Let's not forget the reason for this season - a remembrance of the birth of Jesus, God's gift to us. During this holiday time, take time to celebrate Jesus, the Christ, the Redeemer of the world. He is the only gift that continues to give!
"When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And after entering the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then, after opening their treasure chests, they presented to Him gifts [fit for a king, gifts] of gold, frankincense, and myrrh." (Matthew 2:10-11 AMP)
And it was for this reason that He was born:
He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” (Matthew 26:39 NLT)
Thank You for drinking the cup of sacrifice and paying for our sins that make us joint heirs with You! HALLELUJAH!
Faith Confession:
Abba Father, we thank You for this wonderful eternal gift you have given us. Thank You for loving us so much You redeemed us from eternal separation from You. Thank You for eternal life with You. Thank You for Jesus.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! May the celebration of the birth of our Savior spur you to greater heights and depths in Him this season and the coming year!
