HAVE A NEHEMIAH SPIRIT!

Treasured by God!

So I replied by sending this message to them: “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?” Four times they sent the same message, and each time I gave the same reply." (Nehemiah 6:3‭-‬4 NLT)

I've been meditating on this Scripture in Nehemiah for a while now. It's come up over and over the past few weeks. There's so much packed in this book!

Today, I just want to remind you that distractions in this season are costly, even deadly. Make sure your focus is on things eternal. Don't let anything distract you from walking in your God ordained purpose. The world needs you to be exactly who God created you to be - unapologetically!

Don't worry about the naysayers. They will always have something negative to say. Just remember what God called you to do, trust Him, and do it. Nehemiah didn't take the time to defend his work and you don't have to either. God is your defense and your strong tower.

My prayer for the last year, or more, has been for my Abba Father to show me things from His perspective and to align my heart with His heart so I won't be distracted by the unnecessary. I am determined to live out my purpose. Are you?
