Treasured by God!
In 2021 let’s let go of the old and embrace the new.
“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 MSG)
God specializes in new beginnings. Sometimes He has to remove the familiar so He can do the spectacular! Let’s allow God to make a new beginning in our lives in 2021:
"God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life." (Genesis 51:10 MSG)
Let’s decide, with the help of the Holy Spirit, that 2021 will be a year that we will:
“Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32 MSG)
In 2021 let’s keep our eyes on the eternal and not the temporary:
“So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” (II Corinthians 4:18 AMPC)
