KEEP WAITING AND TRUSTING GOD WHILE YOU WAIT!

“Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.” (Psalm 27:14 MSG)

This is a word of encouragement for those who are waiting, tired of waiting, moving too fast, or not waiting at all!

“Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (Genesis 18:14 NKJV)

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: A time to…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 AMPC)

Appointed - Fixed; set; established; decreed; ordained; constituted; allotted. (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Time - A proper time; a season; Duration (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Faith Confession:

Lord, help me to wait, submit to your process, for my, “Appointed Time.” Don’t let me be so eager. I move too fast that I am premature, or so fearful of embracing change, that I am stillborn, missing my opportunity. Instead, let me patiently wait for Your, “Appointed Time,” for me to give birth.

Wait - To rest in expectation and patience; to stay; not to depart (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

“He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31 NKJV)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I will rest in expectation and patience for You Abba. I will stay and not depart until I hear from You.

“Giving these instructions to the people: “When you see the Levitical priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God, move out from your positions and follow them.” (Joshua 3:3 NLT)

PRAYER:

Abba Father, I will follow You, stay in Your Presence, and submit to Your will in every area of my life. I will not allow my flesh, emotions/reasoning, or others to interrupt, change, or abort Your plan for my life. I pray for Your timing while trusting Your provision, in this season, and the next. I rejoice in advance that Your, “Appointed Time,” for my life come to pass. I pray this prayer in faith and on the authority of Jesus. Amen.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.” (Habakkuk 2:3 AMPC)

Be encouraged because we don’t wait or go alone.

“I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them—sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.” (Isaiah 42:16 MSG)

“I’ll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I’ll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances.” (Isaiah 45:2 MSG)

Be Encouraged! ❤
