Now, more than ever, you need to know God's Word for yourself. Too many are proclaiming a gospel that has nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not knowing this will cause you to end up in hell, eternally separated from God.
Just because someone has a title doesn't mean they have intimate knowledge of the Word of God or an intimate relationship with God, or speaks the truth of God. Don't be fooled! Establish your own relationship with God by studying His Word. Knowing God's Word will help you to recognize when error is being taught by others. This is critical to your spiritual health, wellbeing, and your very life, especially where eternity is concerned.
Anyone that's teaching anything that is not from the Word of God, anyone saying times have changed where the Word of God is concerned, and anyone promoting good works as entry into heaven - every one of them, no matter who they are, is lying to you and the truth of God is not in them. RUN! RUN QUICKLY in the opposite direction. They are not serving, or representing, the one true and living God.
