"Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment
your body and spirit long for." (Proverbs 3:5-8 TPT)
Sometimes, what seems to be a good idea, the sensible or logical thing to do, may not work out the way we think or hope.
Yep! I seem to think I can handle it.
I sometimes have two piles:
Leisa's piles
God's piles
What I really need to remember is:
There only needs to be one pile - God's pile! He can handle it all. There's nothing too small or too big for Him.
My conclusion:
Don't just do what you think is right in your own sight. Ask God!
"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!" (Proverbs 3:5-8 MSG)
