PLANNING!

“Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [[a]because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]. (Ephesians 1:4-5 AMPC)

GOD IS SAYING THIS TO ME ABOUT ME:

  • In His love

  • He chose me!

  • Actually, picked me out for Himself!

  • As His own!

  • He did this before the foundation of the world!

  • I was on His mind and in His heart before creation!

  • He created me to be holy

  • Consecrated, set apart for Himself!

  • To be blameless in His sight

  • Above reproach before Him in love!

  • He foreordained me!

  • He destined me!

  • He planned in love for me

  • To be adopted (revealed) as His own child through Jesus!

  • In accordance with the purpose of His will

  • He had a purpose for me! I’m not here haphazardly!

  • Why?

  • Because it pleased Him, and it was His kind intent!

“If you don’t have a plan for your life, you have nothing to refer to when you want to make sure you are on track.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

Planning gives me focus and accountability. Without a plan I won’t know my, “how!” I will also be subject to drifting and wasting time.

My plan starts with God’s vision for my life, a vision He makes known to me throughout my life. Once I know the vision I can construct a strategy, or strategies, to implement that plan. Of course, I must check in with the Originator of the plan for guidance, ideas, and directions. I’m so glad He doesn’t leave me to my own resources or thoughts. He’s right there with me, leading and guiding me along the best pathway for my life and purpose.

“A vision becomes a plan when it is captured, fleshed out, and written down. The plan that is in your heart is a documentation of a future that that is not yet finished.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I will capture, flesh out, and write down my God given vision so it can become a plan that I can act on making it a reality.

Be Encouraged! ❤
