Today, I’m going to do a little bit of teaching! Stay with me and I believe you’ll be blessed and empowered! I was when I was studying this.

“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.” (Ephesians 3:20 TPT)

Ephesians 3:20 reminds us:

  • Never doubt or God’s mighty power to work in you

  • He will accomplish what He promises

  • He will achieve infinitely more than:

  • Your greatest work

  • Your most unbelievable dream and

  • Exceed your wildest imagination

  • He will outdo them all

  • For His miraculous power constantly energizes you

Power in this verse means – dýnamis, doo'-nam-is; force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself):—ability, abundance, meaning, might(-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle(-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work. (Strong’s G1411)

Outline of Biblical Usage (from Strong’s 1411):

  • strength power, ability

  • inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth

  • power for performing miracles

  • moral power and excellence of soul

  • the power and influence which belong to riches and wealth

  • power and resources arising from numbers

  • power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts

Abba Father, I’m so excited I don’t have to do any of this on my own. I can lean on You and all that You have placed in me. I have access to Your strength and power. What You promise You will deliver I can depend on You to fulfill the vision and purpose You ordained for my life. All I have to do is stay connected to Jesus and be directed by Jesus.

“I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” (John 15:5 AMPC)

“You will never be successful in your vision until you truly understand your potential. Recall that your potential is determined by the assignment God has given you to do. Whatever you were born to do, you are equipped to do. Moreover, resources will become available to you as you need them.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

We must understand the power of potential, God given potential. The combination of potential and power brings about the manifestation of vision.

Dunamis is an ordinary Greek word for possibility or capability. Depending on context, it could be translated 'potency', 'potential', 'capacity', 'ability', 'power', 'capability', 'strength', 'possibility', 'force' and is the root of modern English words dynamic, dynamite, and dynamo.

Potential is the foundation for vision. God, You gave me potential. Help me to recognize it and use it. Teach me to navigate and maximize my potential so the vision comes to pass. Let me remember You have given me the ability to do what You planned, and created, me to do.

Be Encouraged! ❤
