POWER IN PEACE!

Updated: Jul 29, 2022

“Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?” (Matthew 6:26 NLT)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Abba, You are in the details of our lives, taking care of all You create. Let me always remember that, especially when facing the challenges of life. Everything I need You have made available to me. All I have to do is get it.

“True prosperity means freedom from worry and fear and reflects a state of contentedness that everything necessary is being taken care of.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Peace is valuable currency and must be maintained at all costs. My peace is non-negotiable. If it costs my peace I must decline to participate. There in nothing more important than following after peace.

“And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].” (Colossians 3:15 AMPC)

MY CONCLUSION:

In all my dealings I must let peace be the umpire of my heart and my decisions. A life filled with peace is a prosperous life.

THE WAY TO HAVE AND MAINTAIN PEACE:

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” (Philippians 4:6-8 NLT)
