“I’m working hard to comfort and encourage them so that they will be knit together—that many hearts would become one through His love. I do it so they will be rich in understanding and have full knowledge of God’s mystery, which is the Anointed One Himself—in Him all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are concealed.” (Colossians 2:2-3 The Voice)
Today take a moment to pray about the following:
To work hard for Jesus, think discipleship – (“Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37 AMPC)
To encourage others – (“That is, that we may be mutually strengthened and encouraged and comforted by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” Romans 1:12 AMPC)
To promote unity in your family and your church – (“That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.” John 17:21 AMPC)
To be made rich in understanding Jesus – (“[For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One).” Colossians 2:2 AMPC)
To be able to recognize the treasures of understanding and knowledge you have in Him, Jesus – (“In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.” Colossians 2:3 AMPC)
“The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” (James 5:16b AMPC)
Let’s pray this prayer for someone(s) today:
“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.” (Colossians 1:9-12 NLT)
Prayer transforms lives and brings us closer to the heart of God! How can I pray for you today?
Be Encouraged! ❤
