“Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.” (Hebrews 10:35-36 AMPC)

Fearless – Bold; courageous; intrepid; undaunted (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Confidence – A trusting, or reliance; an assurance of mind or firm belief in the integrity, stability or veracity of another, or in the truth and reality of a fact (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Steadfast – Fast fixed; firm; firmly fixed or established; Constant; firm; resolute; not fickle or wavering (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Patience – A calm temper which bears evils without murmuring or discontent; The act or quality of waiting long for justice or expected good without discontent; The act or quality of waiting long for justice or expected good without discontent; The quality of bearing offenses and injuries without anger or revenge (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

My confidence in You, Abba Father, must be fearless, without hesitation or restraint. My confident faith carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. My faith in Your Word and obedience to Your Word manifests the power of Your Word in my life.

I have steadfast patience and endurance. I will not give up or quit in the face of challenges. I have set my face like flint and am anchored in Your Word trusting You to perform it in my life.

My steadfast patience and endurance equip me to perform and fully accomplish Your will for me on earth. My steadfast patience and endurance ultimately allow me to receive and carry away and enjoy to the full all You have promised.

“People who have vision are stronger than the pressure life brings. Character is formed by pressure. The purpose of pressure is to get rid of what is not of God and to leave what is pure gold.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

There is purpose in pressure. It’s not only to be endured but provides valuable learning, growth, and character-building opportunities. You waste nothing Abba Father. Abba, show me the lesson in what I am going through. I surrender to this character building and growth opportunity. Continue to refine me so I can become more like you.

“There is no stopping a person who understands that pressure is good for him because pressure is one of the keys to perseverance.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

Pressure has an assignment!

  • In what areas of your life/vision are you in need of perseverance?

  • What have you given up on that you need to pick up again and continue with?

  • Ask God to develop faithfulness, steadfastness and courage in you.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].” (I Corinthians 15:58 AMPC)
