SEARCH ME O GOD!

“God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand. I’m an open book to you; even from a distance, you know what I’m thinking. You know when I leave and when I get back; I’m never out of your sight. Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.” (Psalm 139:1-3 & 13-16 MSG)

Sometimes we need to take a moment and ask God to shine a light on our hearts and minds. Ask Him to show us, well, us. Then ask Him to help us to become more like Him. Ask Him to show us what we need to let go of and place on the altar. Who better than the Creator to show the created all that is possible? We are capable of more than we can imagine. Let’s take the limits off of our thinking and ask our Abba Father to show us our possibilities in Him.

FAITH CONFESSION:

Abba Father, You see me. You know me, intimately. I am not an accident! You knew I would be here, and You have a purpose and a plan for my life! Show me how to walk fully in Your plan and purpose for my life. Help me to take the limits off of my thoughts, words, and actions so I can be more like You. Thank You Jesus! I give You all the glory in advance.

“Wash me thoroughly [and repeatedly] from my iniquity and guilt and cleanse me and make me wholly pure from my sin! For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; my sin is ever before me. Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow.” (Psalm 51:2-3, 6-7 AMPC)
