Treasured by God!
Excuse me. May I interrupt you to share an encouraging word?
“God, show me the truth about myself no matter how BEAUTIFUL it may be!”
"As we read the Bible, many of us concentrate on our flaws, failures, and shortcomings. We find it difficult to absorb the parts where God calls us coheirs with Christ and promises we’ll share in His glory. We struggle to take in the description of the heavenly future God has planned for us." (Dianne Neal Matthews)
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (I John 3:1 NIV)
Ask God to help you look for the beautiful truth of who you are as opposed to focusing on the lies of the enemy. Ask Him to help you to see you the way He sees you.
I don’t know about you but the first sentence made me stop and realize that when I ask God to show me – me I do so expecting to hear areas of opportunities instead of, well done and I’m proud of you! Can I say that I’m going back to my prayer room to meditate on this some more and ask my loving Abba Father to show me – me! I want to see the me that He says, not what I think or the even the labels the world wants to use to define me!
It is time out for the negative! This doesn’t mean that I don’t deal with the areas of opportunity, with God’s help. It means I rejoice in how far He has bought me!
Thank you for your attention. Carry on!
Be Encouraged! ❤
