SUBCONSCIOUS INFLUENCE!

Updated: May 12, 2023

Some questions I've had to ask myself:

  • Am I afraid to succeed?

  • How much of my failure and lack of movement is self-sabotage?

Then I went to the Word about fearing man/people because maybe what other's think impacts me more than I realize.

I found these Scriptures:

  • "But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you and trust in you with all my heart. What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart as I trust his promises." (Psalm 56:3-4 TPT)

  • "Now I know, Lord, that you are for me, and I will never fear what man can do to me." (Psalm 118:6 TPT)

  • "Yahweh is my revelation-light and the source of my salvation. I fear no one! I’ll never turn back and run, for you, Yahweh, surround and protect me." (Psalm 27:1 TPT)

  • So we can say with great confidence: “I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me!” (Hebrews 13:6 TPT)

  • "Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back. But when you place your confidence in the Lord, you will be seated in the high place." (Proverbs 29:25 TPT

  • "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high." (Proverbs 29:25 AMPC)

Then I found Scriptures to stand on to combat any fear I have where people were concerned:

  • "I’m obviously not trying to flatter you or water down my message to be popular with men, but my supreme passion is to please God. For if all I attempt to do is please people, I would fail to be a true servant of Christ." (Galatians 1:10 TPT)

  • "Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah)." (Galatians 1:10 AMPC)

  • "But we have been approved by God to be those who preach the gospel. So our motivation to preach is not pleasing people but pleasing God, who thoroughly examines our hearts." (1 Thessalonians 2:4 TPT)

  • "Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 AMPC)

These Scriptures give me hope, focus, and energy to move and keep moving.

In becoming better, not bitter, I had to remind myself to forgive myself for the bad choices as they taught me something too. Got to eat the meat and throw out the bone. I don't have to keep it all! I also need to extend the same grace God extends to me, and I extend to others, to myself. I am worthy of grace! You are worthy of grace. Let's walk in His grace for us.

Be Encouraged! ❤
