SURRENDER LEADS TO DIRECTION!

As you continue to create and evaluate your goals remember to listen to God's voice. When you make goals based on His Word and His counsel then you will have His power to fulfill them. Make sure your goals have a Kingdom focus because only what you do for Christ will last!

Let 2023 be the year that you never forget just how much God loves you:

Decide to make 2023 the year you surrender totally to God's guidance in every area of your life.

“I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them—sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.” (Isaiah 42:16 MSG)

Let this be your prayer today:

Abba Father, I need You to be my personal guide. Direct me through the unknown. I don’t know what to do or where to turn without You. I need Your direction to show me what road to take. Please make sure I stay on the right path, Your path for my life. I don’t want to fall in a ditch or be unnecessarily sidetracked or sidelined. Stick with me Abba Father. Don’t leave me on my own, even for a minute. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Surrender is a process and a challenge. You are taught to figure things out, create a plan, etc. God wants you to allow Him to be your plan, your process, and your way. Knowing when to step back is key and that, too, is part of the process. The very things that may make you successful in your career are sometimes the very things that can cause you to stumble in your walk with the Lord. He doesn't need your help, but He requires your obedience and cooperation. You must be submitted to the process and accept that you are under construction by the Master Builder. You have not yet become but you are becoming who God created you to be!

Hear the voice of the Lord saying to you:

“I’ll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I’ll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances.” (Isaiah 45:2 MSG)

I thank You Abba Father for opening doors and clearing paths to those doors. In the meantime, I am holding on to this promise:

"I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10b-11 MSG)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I believe You will show up and take care of me. I trust that You know what You are doing in every area of my life. I know You have everything planned out. Thank You for taking care of me and not abandoning me. I rejoice over the plans you have for me, to give me the future I hope for. For this I give thanks!

Be Encouraged! ❤
