So, this happened! It was waiting for me when I got home. My husband found the perfect place for it too! Someone saw this and thought of me, based on my Chronicles from the Porch Devotions over the summer. I am blessed and loved by God. Only He knows the impact, and imprint, this gift had on me. The notes that came with it were priceless and heartfelt, striking a cord deeply. The words breathed fresh life into my spirit. Sometimes, you may never know the impact you have on people, and sometimes God will show you the impact. I got that time in this moment and so did the giver of this precious gift. The person that blessed me with this may never fully understand just how she was used by God but she was. Obedience to God impacts lives. What may seem small or insignificant or like no big deal can be huge, significant, and a game changer! When God shows you how to bless someone just do it. The it isn't always money either! It could be many things so don't limit God. Just flow with Him. I didn't ask the person if I could share her name so I'm not going to at this time. She didn't do it for recognition. It was a heart thing. I'm sharing to give God glory and to remind us that God's blessings are wonderful, divinely unique, and heartfelt. He knows His children.
