I realize I need to understand the intensity of God's love for me. There is nothing on earth to compare. Today, I'll be thinking about how much God loves me, loves us, and let that make a difference in how I interact with others.
Will you join me?
Making Scripture personal helps me. I hope this helps you also.
As you read this Scripture, hear the voice of God saying to you:
(Insert your name), out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them!" God told (Insert your name), "I've never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love! And so now I'll start over with you and build you up again, dear (Insert your name)” (Jeremiah 31:2-4 MSG)
Here are a few Scriptures about God's love for us for you to mediate on:
"[And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; your walls are continually before Me." (Isaiah 49:15-16 AMPC)
"But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows." (Luke 12:7 AMPC)
"For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well." (Psalms 139:13-14 AMPC)
"And the Lord said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have asked, for you have found favor, loving kindness, and mercy in My sight and I know you personally and by name." (Exodus 33:17 AMPC)
"For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed says the Lord, who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10 AMPC)
"Even to your old age I am He, and even to hair white with age will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry and will save you." (Isaiah 46:4 AMPC)
"Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (designed us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]." (Ephesians 1:4-5 AMPC)
"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)
