I was reading about the story of Lazarus, Martha and Mary's brother, and had these thoughts:

What Jesus does for me and through me is His story, not mine. I am the vessel being used for God's glory, not the author of the results.

I'm reminded that people may want to be around you for what God is doing or has done in your life. While you may get the attention, God must always get the glory. We must continually point people to Jesus.

‭‭"[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight." (Philippians 2:13 AMPC)
