"Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord." (Jeremiah 29:13-14a AMPC)
I desire deeper intimacy with my Abba, Father, and have put steps in place to go deeper. The invitation is always there but we must accept it and desire it with our whole heart.
I want to see more of His power manifested through me according to Mark 16:17-18. My reading list includes Smith Wigglesworth, E. M. bounds, a definite Andrew Murray right now. Prayer and communion with Him on a much deeper level are where I'm focused. I want to hear God's voice for myself. The only word I'm looking for is found in the Word of God.
Jesus didn't tell us to chase signs and wonders. He told us that signs and wonders would follow us who believe.
"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18 NKJV)
FAITH CONFESSION:
I set myself [determinedly, as my vital necessity, to seek the Lord with all that is in me.
This is my heart's desire and has become my daily prayer:
