THE POWER OF SILENCE!

Updated: Nov 10, 2022

There is a lesson to be learned in silence when you are walking in the will of God. We always want to explain when asked. Yet we must understand that there are some questions whose answers no one will understand. When God has purposed for you to do something and you have purposed that you will do it that is answer enough.

Sometimes silence is your best defense. Don’t allow yourself to become distracted. People that know you and recognize the calling on your life, accept that you are walking in your God ordained purpose will pray for you. Those who don't will talk about you. Either way, stay on assignment. Walk in your purpose.

We really need to be careful about who we talk about, especially when we don't know all the facts or their God given assignment. If it looks crazy to you - pray instead of criticizing!

"He allowed no man to do them wrong; in fact, He reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm." (Psalm 105:14-15 AMPC)

I wonder why people think it is okay to talk about those called by God? Whether you believe they have been called or not, why risk it? Trust me, God knows what He's doing. Keep in mind that He sees what we can't and He knows what we don't. While it may not make sense to you, and really it doesn't have, God has a plan and a purpose for each one of us.

"Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God." (I Corinthians 1:26-29 NLT)

The more impossible something looks the greater the possibility that God is in it. It might be wiser to be silent than to talk against what God is doing in someone else’s life. Better yet, why don’t we focus on what He’s doing in our own lives?
