Treasured by God!
It's in the storms of life that our true character, what we believe is revealed. It's easy to trust God when everything is going well. But do we have that same level of trust in the storm, believing that this did not catch Him by surprise and He will provide a way out. It's in the storms of life that we find out what we really believe, what we’re made of, and where we need more growth.
"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" (John 16:33 AMPC)
It's knowing that we will go through storms and trusting that God has already given us the victory that will enable us to remain confident, certain, and undaunted. God's got this! Be like Jesus so confident in the storm that he slept through it. The disciples had to wake Him up to tell Him it was storming!
