TIME WITH GOD!

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

I have been craving deeper intimacy with the Lord. I have desired more of Him. I recognize there is more He wants to give me, and I want all He has for me.

God is available to us and wants to spend time with us. When we make the effort, He meets us there.

"Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting." (James 4:8 TPT)

The question is, are you really hungry for God? Do you crave Him like you crave food? Have you made Him your vital necessity?

A white-tailed deer drinks from the creek; I want to drink God, deep drafts of God. I’m thirsty for God-alive. I wonder, “Will I ever make it— arrive and drink in God’s presence?” (Psalms 42:1‭-‬2 MSG)

LET THIS BE YOUR HEART'S DESIRE:

"I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God." (Psalms 42:1‭-‬2 TPT)

Today, drink deeply of God. Spend time in His Presence and in His Word. Don't rush through it because your Abba, Father, wants to spend time with you. He wants to tell you things.

"Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand)." (Jeremiah 33:3 AMPC)

LET THIS BE YOUR HEART'S FOCUS:

"O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy." (Psalms 63:1‭-‬5 NLT)
