Today, let's take some time and look at our lives and what we are doing for Jesus. Let's ask some hard questions and check our motives to see if we're on God's path or our own. Introspection can be painful but it's necessary in order to grow and to become. It's important that we check to make sure we're on the right track, God's track, for our lives.
“Then Solomon determined to build a temple for the name of the Lord, and a royal house for himself.” (II Chronicles 2:1 NKJV)
How would you answer these questions?
Lord, give me determination linked to Your purpose and blessing to build?
What do you want to build just for God?
This question truly stirred my spirit, and I am still considering it:
“What am I building for the Lord?”
I don’t want to give pat answers. I really want to consider this question so my answer will be one that truly honors God and moves me beyond my comfort zone and present ability. I also want to make sure my motives bring glory to God and not myself.
We may have to park here and go hangout with our Abba Father on this one!
Don't allow fear to stop you from moving forward with the dream God has given you, no matter how hard or unattainable it may seem.
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control." (II Timothy 1:7 AMPC)
Always remember that all things are possible with God. If He gave you the vision, He will cause it to come to pass. Keep building to the glory of God!
Be Encouraged! ❤
