WHAT ARE YOU THINKING AND SAYING?

Focusing on the promises of God and our victories is the best thing we can do. When we focus on our failures, the challenges we face, how far we have to go, we might not be gentle with ourselves and it may cause us to become disappointed, depressed, or discouraged. Then we may want to give up. Remember, we already have the victory, no matter what it looks like or how we feel.

“Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.” (Romans 8:37 AMPC)

This is a journey. We're going to encounter times when we must yield, stop, be detoured, and more, just like on a road trip! We have to adjust, make course corrections to get to our destination.

When we focus on:

"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things," (Philippians 4:8 ESV).

When we do that, we can continue.

We are not alone. Our Abba Father has promised He will never leave us.

“For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!].” (Hebrews 13:5b AMPC)

Our self-talk is important, and we must align it with the Word of God, not what we see or what we feel. This is not always easy, but it is doable! Holy Spirit will lead and guide you to all truth. Choose to surrender to His direction. Find out what the Word of God says about your situation and choose to believe His Word over your circumstances and feelings. Remember, it’s about our choices! What we focus on can change things! Let Philippians 4:8 be your guide, your compass, of where your thoughts should be parked. When you do this your words and actions will align with God's Word and you will succeed.

Be Encouraged! ❤
