CONSIDER YOUR PATH FOR 2023!

“Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright.” (Proverbs 4:26 AMPC)

As this year comes to a close, we should consider our paths and ask God to establish and order our way according to His plan and purpose for our lives. A new year looms ahead with new possibilities and opportunities. Our Abba Father specializes in new beginnings.

Questions to consider as we go into 2023:

  • Am I on the right and true God ordained path for my life?

  • Am I doing what God wants me to do or what I want to do?

  • Do I need a course correction?

Anyone need a do over, a fresh start? Well, your loving Abba Father has a fresh start with your name on it. Just ask Him.

I'm praying, according to Psalm 51:10 MSG:

“God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life.”

Genesis - New Beginnings! Fresh start! Creation! Newness! Rebirth! New Life! Do Over! Love it! That means we don't remain the same. Just as seasons change so will our circumstances. Trouble doesn’t last always. God uses every event, every circumstance, and every challenge in our lives to make us more like Him. It's about becoming better!

“Your teacher will be right there, local and on the job, urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road. Walk down this road.” (Isaiah 30:21 MSG)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, help me to be where You want me to be, doing what You have called me to do. I don’t want to be distracted by doing good things and miss the God things You want me to do.

Scriptures to consider as you consider your path:

"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore." (Psalm 16:11 AMPC)

"My steps have held closely to Your paths [to the tracks of the One Who has gone on before]; my feet have not slipped." (Psalm 17:5 AMPC)

"He refreshes and restores my life (myself); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake." (Psalm 23:3 AMPC)

"I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalm 32:8-9 TPT)
