"But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure." (Romans 8:25 AMPC)
In the waiting I hear God saying:
Wait.
Be still.
Trust.
Repeat!
We won't be disappointed!
"But if we wait expectantly for things we have never seen, then we hope with true perseverance and eager anticipation." (Romans 8:25 The Voice)
While you wait hold on to this promise from God:
"But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired." (Isaiah 40:31 AMPC)
There is something to do in the waiting.
Expect God to show up
Look for God to show up
Place our Hope in Him
When we do these things He will renew our strength, give us the ability to wait, which is actually preparation time, and give us the power to face whatever comes our way, while waiting.
I think waiting is the hard part. It's in the waiting that our Abba Father prepares us and the path we walk. When we take our own path, we get our own results. I've seen my results! I choose to wait, expect, look for, and hope in God, this way I can get God's results.
God's plan + my obedience + God's timing = walking in God's purpose for my life.
"So don’t be impatient for the Lord to act; keep moving forward steadily in his ways, and he will exalt you at the right time. And when he does, you will possess every promise, including your full inheritance. You’ll watch with your own eyes and see the wicked lose everything." (Psalms 37:34 TPT)
A word of encouragement for someone, me included, who may want to give up:
You may feel like quitting but look to God. He can give you the courage, and the strength, to go on, even if you must go on alone. Don't give up. Gods got you!
“Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.” (Psalm 27:14 AMPC)
Remember, there is purpose is waiting and waiting is a time for action. Don’t give up. Victory is yours!
