Treasured by God!
“When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” (John 19:30 AMPC)
“And as [the women] were frightened and were bowing their faces to the ground, the men said to them, Why do you look for the living among [those who are] dead? He is not here, but has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee.” (Luke 24:5-6 AMPC)
Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me so much that You gave Your only begotten Son. Thank You for the promise that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. As I reflect on the journey Jesus made during Holy Week, all I can do is humbly praise You for the value You placed on me. Thank You for Your love. Help me to always carry Your love in my heart. Remind me, when others may not understand me or treat me the way I expect, that You sent Your Son to die for them, also. Let me walk in love with others so I can reflect Your love to those who do not know You. Grant me holy boldness, to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel to others, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to the captives, and release from darkness the prisoners. Thank You, Father, for Jesus. I pray this prayer in faith and on the authority of the Name of Jesus. Amen.
