THE ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER with Pastor Leisa:

Writer's picture: Leisa WilkinsLeisa Wilkins

No matter what you are facing, boldly make this declaration:

Abba, Father, I know You have not forgotten me. I am not alone in this because You are always with me. You continually show me Your love in so many ways. I believe in You, not my circumstances. I believe Your Word, not my thoughts or the words of others. I believe Your heart for me is to give me hope and a future. In this I stand with You.

Here's the Word of God to back up that declaration:

“Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you." (Isaiah 49:15 NASB)

For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" (Hebrews 1:5 AMPC)

"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you." (Joshua 1:5 AMPC)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB)

"I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10b-11 MSG)

Know this:

When you stand on God's Word, you're on a firm foundation because God watches over His Word to perform it, and His Word will not return to Him void.

"Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it." (Jeremiah 1:12 AMPC)

"So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11 NASB)
