Treasured by God!
I've learned the difference between a "good" thing and a "God" thing. Yes, it could be a good thing but when a good thing moves me away from my purpose in life then it's not a God thing for me.
I've also learned the power of no - without an explanation. Giving your why invites others to try to show you how to change your no to a yes so you do what they want sometimes at the expense of your purpose. No is a complete sentence and requires no explanation. I no longer explain why my answer is no, unless asked. Usually my no has to do with being sidetracked from purpose.
I was reminded not to allow anyone to misuse, abuse, diffuse, or belittle the greatness God has placed in me. Goodbye is a gift given to those that don't honor who you are and what you have been anointed to do!
This social media break has reminded me of the importance of being intentional, strategic, and focused. I'm thankful for that reminder and will keep it at the forefront of my mind when making decisions.
It's taken years, many tears, and disappointments to get here, but I'm here, by the grace of God. Life lessons are priceless, stay with us, and propel us to destiny.
