YOU'RE INVITED!

Updated: Dec 5, 2022

I invite you to take time away from everything and just soak in the Presence of the Lord. Like spa days in the natural every now and then we need to take a spiritual spa day, a day where you shut down all outside influences and focus on God. The goal is to nourish your Spirit.

“And He said to them, [As for you] come away by yourselves to a deserted place, and rest a while—for many were [continually] coming and going, and they had not even leisure enough to eat.” (Mark 6:31 AMPC)

I read something and it now had me evaluating the things I'm doing. Recently, the Lord had me focus on "new season," specifically letting go of some things. They were good things in its season but He's showing me that my season is changing. I'm not fully sure of what is being removed, added, or changed but I'm pressing into Him trusting Him to show me. Then there was this:

"When you come to Me, you can’t see how surrounded and bogged down you are by the unholy things of the world. There is much that has no meaning, no life, no value; and only collects and holds dust and dirt. Let Me pick you up, and bring you into your new life, your new home, your new purpose, your new calling. Only bring with you the things that you could bring into heaven; the things of a healthy life, of newness, of joy, of restoration. Leave all the places of dark dysfunction behind you. Trust Me to bring you to a better place, a beautiful place, a holy place." (“Kingdom Streams” by ~ Sandra K. Dubois~)

There is so much insight and things to consider in this one paragraph. Today I'm taking the time to consider these things, will you?

Consider - In the imperative, consider is equivalent to, think with care, attend, examine the subject with a view to truth or the consequences of a measure. So, we use see, observe, think, attend. (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands." (Isaiah 43:18‭-‬19 MSG)

New means fresh. In order for me to see it I have to be willing to let some things go to have space for what is coming.

I know that God is doing something, and I'm determined He is not going to do it without me! I'm in position, ready to be used and ready to receive from God. What about you?

I encourage you to explore what the Lord would show you during your time together. I would love to hear your insights.

Be Encouraged! ❤
